2005 Bull Elk – May


Brian Gilson drew a coveted Manti elk tag in 2003 and with the help of some friends ended up taking the new Utah state record typical elk. This beautiful 6×6 point elk is the first typical bull to net score over 400 B&C points in the state of Utah. The bull scores 416 gross and 402 4/8 net B&C.
NOTE: This bull has since been beaten. The current state record elk for Utah is the Skoronski Bull seen here.
